A.N.Y. Safety Patrol [Unfinished demo]
Welcome to A.N.Y. Safety Patrol! Solve puzzles, hunt down criminals and survive everyday school life.
On your first day at the new school, you get caught up in a safety patrol case. Someone rioted in the toilets on the ground floor and now it's up to you and your teammates to solve the case. Question witnesses, find evidence and confront those responsible.
But don't think it will be that easy. Because the students at A.N.Y. are clever and present you with all sorts of puzzles and intrigues. Of course, with less-cooperative suspects, you'll have to give chase and make decisions that you might end up regretting.
I'm developing a little pixelart adventure. This is a super early prototype of the beginning of the game and its first case. Will be updated casually. Would be very grateful for any feedback about the overall gameplay, because this is the first game I ever put my developer hands on.
ATTENTION: At the moment the prototype stops after you have found all hints for the first case.
Planned features:
- Top down 2D pixel art adventure
- Graphically inspired by the Pokémon and Earthbound games
- Exciting story about everyday life in A.N.Y. safety patrol.
- Problems from everyday school life are completely overdramatized and targeted
- Varied mechanics and mini-games
- Find all the evidence at the crime scene
- Interrogate suspects by combining the right evidence and decide guilt or innocence
- Pursue fleeing targets in an obstacle course
- Make decisions that can lead to one of three game endings
- Numerous Easter eggs for well-known games, series and films in the dialogues
- In addition, multiple collectibles in the form of essays on the topic "What is your favorite game", written by YOU!

You can either go by keyboard or gamepad (I tried it with a low budget one ).
